High Fire is a solo exhibition by artist Julia Karrys, exploring the intersection of clay, grief, and healing.

The show centers around the idea that bodies and clay fire at the same temperature—one turning to ash, the other becoming permanent. Drawing from poetry in her first book, DEATH DO US PART: A Collection of Poetry, and her upcoming second book, MAIDEN NAME, Karrys reflects on how loss reshapes identity through a series of ceramic masks and form sculptures. Through clay she explores how attachment and resilience are formed, broken, and rebuilt. This collection is a story of loss, transformation, and the enduring power of art.

High Fire is a curated collection of ceramic sculpture and visual storytelling by Julia Karrys. This exhibition is now available to travel and is open for gallery bookings in 2025–2026. Please reach out to Julia here.
